With two grand tree lighting ceremonies, a half-million holiday lights, dazzling decorations and holiday activities, French Lick Resort is where the spirit of the season comes alive. We hang on to that holiday magic as long as possible, so our lights and decorations stay up into early January.

Our annual tree lighting ceremony at French Lick Springs Hotel truly captures the essence of the holidays. The festivities begin at noon with special activities including ice skating, train rides, bounce house, live reindeer and visits with Santa. The Celebration of Lights ceremony kicks off at 6pm, and it all leads up to the big moment: the lighting of our grand tree and a spectacular fireworks show.

Capture that perfect snapshot for your Christmas card, or gather the family for holiday photos to treasure through the years. Our friends at Bambino International will help you strike the perfect pose, whether you want something fun and casual, or classic and fancy. Come in your formalwear, holiday attire, Sunday best or pajamas, and have West Baden’s spectacular atrium as a magical backdrop for your family photos this season. Sessions are up to 15 minutes each and include your choice of five edited high-resolution digital files with personal printing permissions; additional images and gift prints are also available.

Letters to Santa November 16 - December 14

Visit us for your chance to write a letter to Santa! But hurry — the North Pole is a long way away, and it takes time to get there. Drop your letter in one of the holiday mailboxes by December 14, and we’ll make sure it gets to the North Pole for Santa to mail a response to your home in time for Christmas. Find the letters and holiday mailboxes at French Lick Springs Hotel, West Baden Springs Hotel and the Activities Center.
