It’s always sunny and 70 inside our indoor pools. And this time of year, the bubbly hot tubs look extra inviting. It may be winter, but don’t forget to pack your trunks and suits.
Coming with the kids? Big Splash Adventure indoor water park (located just minutes from our resort hotels) has day-pass access every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in January and February plus select weekdays as well.
Settle in with a steaming cup of Earl Grey or Lemon Chamomile (plus a tower of sweet and savory treats) at Afternoon Tea (every Saturday starting in January) or Afternoon Tour & Tea (every Wednesday). Feeling something more spirited? Order up an Apple Cider Old Fashioned, one of January’s cocktail specials at West Baden Springs Hotel that will warm you up at first sip.
If you’re thinking about a spa day, a couple treatments in particular will warm the body and soul.
Our nationally famous mineral baths are a great place to start. Your spa therapist will draw your bath to a soothing 102 degrees. And if you love it extra warm, feel free to turn on more hot water until your bath feels juuuust right.
Or, opt for the Sacred Stone Massage Experience at The Spa at French Lick. Choose a 50-minute or 75-minute therapeutic massage using smooth basalt lava stones that are heated to release warm healing properties. Stones are also placed on key tension areas, making this the perfect way to relax.
Weekdays during January and February, you can also enjoy a 10% discount on treatments at both resort spas.
Nothing warms you up quite like a great glass (or two) of wine.
Our wine menu at 1875: The Steakhouse has been updated with a few new arrivals, including Emmolo Merlot from Napa Valley; two new Pinot Noirs (Meiomi and Director’s Cut), sublime Malbecs from Argentina (Domaine Bousquet and Catena Alta); and the Château Peymouton Red Blend from France. White wine lovers will want to try the Laroche St. Martin Chablis from France or the Bertani Due Uve from Italy.
When we say our desserts are fire, we mean it. Finish your meal at 1875: The Steakhouse or Sinclair’s Restaurant with Bananas Foster or Strawberry au Poivre, prepared tableside and flambeed before your eyes.
Who says you have to get out from underneath the covers?
Sleep in, hibernate to your heart’s content, and take advantage of those plush, oversized bathrobes in your guestroom. (Even find them in the hotel gift shops to take home.)
