Request InformationThe French Lick Springs Hotel formal gardens were originally in a Japanese style and have remained as such through the years. Traditional Japanese gardens are a small representation of a peaceful landscape and punctuated with a tranquil water feature, making it the perfect setting for an outdoor cocktail reception, wedding or reunion. The garden is perfectly suited for a stroll after a long day of meetings or an open-air venue for a party.
Build camaraderie and office productivity with a little friendly competition in the bowling alley. Also great for holiday parties and reunions, the bowling lanes along with the arcade and pizzeria can be rented exclusively for your occasion. Bring your quarters for the video games and interactive games at the arcade. Pizza, beer and soft drinks round out the party.

Built in 1902 and fully restored in 2007, the Atrium can be configured for a formal reception or cocktail party, or a casual and relaxed affair. In spite of its size and grandeur, it has an intimate feel and is the perfect venue for semi-private cocktail receptions and dinners. The atrium can also be exclusively rented for private events with a buyout of the hotel.
The lobby could be considered the little sister of the hotel’s historic domed atrium. It and the surrounding mezzanine have their own decorative flair that make this venue unforgettable. Also located a few steps away from the veranda, this circular, two-storied space is perfect for weddings and receptions, elegant dinners, social events and presentations.
Just off the lobby and steps away from the atrium, the Caddy Sinclair Room is nearby all the action while maintaining a private setting. This space is ideal for an intimate dinner or cocktail reception.
The veranda of West Baden Springs Hotel offers a breathtaking view of our historic and picturesque grounds. Easily accessible to the West Baden Springs Hotel lobby and domed atrium, this space is ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies, anniversary celebrations, cocktail receptions, small rehearsal dinners and other social events.
The Formal Gardens at West Baden Springs Hotel are in European style, which presents nature in a controlled and ordered view. This particular garden dates to the hotel’s massive redesign by Lillian Sinclair in 1917. The symmetrical garden is a dream-like setting for weddings. Imagine saying "I do" with the West Baden Springs Hotel as the backdrop!
The boardrooms at West Baden Springs Hotel are great choices for small-sized meetings. Located on the hotel’s first level, the Caldwell & Drake and Oliver Westcott rooms are comfortable, stylish and equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and banquet services.
Table One is our private chef’s table extravagantly set for groups of 10 or fewer. With the flip of a switch, the electrochromic glass ensures seclusion when desired, or a grill-side seat to watch the chef prepare your dinner. Multiple courses are served on our best Versace china with an intricate pattern and trimmed in gold. Table One is an elegant option for small company festivities, family gatherings and intimate celebrations.
Named for former hotel owner Ed Ballard’s wife Ada Fern “Dolly” Ballard, this is ideal space for intimate gatherings needing a touch of elegance. This room can be used for smaller meetings, presentations, seminars or social events.
This room is a great option for medium-sized meetings and events. Located on the lower level of the hotel, this space is away from distractions and maintains an elegant atmosphere to make any event memorable.
With a warehouse feel, the EB Rhodes Room on the first level is a unique space for seminars and presentations. The Lillian Room is a secluded meeting space perfect for professional presentations, meetings and seminars.

This space, which is attached to the Event Center, is great for exhibitions and trade shows. Nearly 32,000 square feet are available to put your convention and vendors on display. That’s large enough for automobiles and fire trucks with the convenience of on-property accommodations and amenities.
The Hoosier Ballroom is French Lick Resort’s largest meeting room with the added capability of accommodating vehicles. It is perfect for weddings or dinner receptions, trade shows and live entertainment. Its adjustable space can also be divided into three smaller rooms.
The Windsor Ballroom is ideal for dinner receptions, celebrations, concerts and formal balls. This adjustable space can also be separated into three smaller rooms. Like all of our event space, it comes equipped with state-of-the-art A/V equipment and expert technical and floral support.
The Clifton Ballroom is a junior ballroom with adjustable space adjacent to the formal gardens at French Lick Springs Hotel. It is ideal for cocktail or wedding receptions with space for a stage.
The Taggart Room is often used for small receptions and events with around 100 people. This room can be divided into two smaller spaces.
The Event Center features 18 break-out rooms named for former U.S. presidents and business partners of Thomas Taggart, the owner of French Lick Springs Hotel in the early 1900s. These rooms are perfect for small cocktail parties, training sessions or presentations.
The Conference Concierge in the Event Center is here to make your event as smooth and hassle-free as possible. This service provides information on the local area and business services such as pick-up and delivery of items, package management, making reservations, sending or receiving faxes, making copies and notary services for groups and guests alike. This venue is the epitome of the “bringing the outdoors in” decorating philosophy. Part park shelter house and part log cabin, the atmosphere takes your event to new heights – literally. Located at The Pete Dye Course at French Lick, this space’s golf course setting and magnificent hilltop views are icing on the cake. Complete with large stone fireplace, huge outdoor firepit, ceiling fans and audio/visual connectivity.

The Mansion at Pete Dye is the perfect setting for your next event. Constructed in 1929 and renovated in 2009, it has many usable entertaining spaces both inside and out. Built by former Indianapolis mayor and long-time owner of French Lick Springs Hotel, Tom Taggart, the mansion is located on Mt. Airie. This venue provides a welcoming ambiance in restored living quarters with an incredible 40-mile panoramic view. Cocktail parties, press conferences and luncheons will feel right at home here.

Whether you're looking for a great group bonding experience or a unique space to hold a family reunion, our stables feature 8.5 miles of trails for riding, 27 horses and a barn full of unconventional activities. Dine alfresco at a chuck wagon cookout, get the gang together for a hayride or compete in lasso throwing, gun slinging (no live ammo, of course), archery or horseshoes, just to name a few. The stables are perfect for any outing – business or family – as well as a unique location for an outdoor wedding.

Modern functionality meets rustic and historic charm at the Event Barn at The Stables. Lunches and dinners, receptions, meetings and other group events will feel right at home here. This mid-1800s-era barn was originally located on private property nearby in Lawrence County before being disassembled and moved to French Lick Resort for a modern facelift. Enjoy a beautiful indoor setting and an array of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, in this peaceful corner of the resort.

Plan a western-themed event for the family, or make it a fun-filled group affair at The Stables. The Stables Pavilion is a large open-air venue that can seat up to 300 people with a rugged barn-like structure framing a beautiful pastoral view. Located behind West Baden Springs Hotel on The Stables property, enjoy a chuck wagon dinner or Wild West Challenge for groups, and bring the family for hayrides and s’mores.
